Summer By The Sea
With summer finally here, ocean lovers visiting Eldons are in for a treat. Â From across the street in Roundstone harbour you can sail around Bertraghboy Bay on the beautiful Galway Hooker â€œBlath na hâ€™Oigeâ€ or hop aboard Joe Conneelyâ€™s Â â€œLady Marylinâ€ for a dayâ€™s sea fishing or an evening cruise. Â Those who want to get even closer to the Atlantic can even kayak around the bay.
The Galway Hooker Sailings
The Galway Hooker sailings run by Wild Atlantic Adventures from May to September have proved very popular with visitors this year. Roundstone Outdoors run by Shane McElligot offers a wonderful new way to enjoy the beauty of the coastline around the village.Â Shane, an experienced instructor, offers guided tours of the bay by kayak or on stand-up paddle boards for both adults and children.
